The year of 2017 is coming to its end and what a year it was! Even though there were some disappointments and genuinely terrible films, plenty of directors and writers elevated their own movies and a few of them shine through with the help of their respective amazing cast.
I present to you my personal choices for the 10 best films of 2017!
First of all, I need to clarify something extremely important! This is NOT an automatic rating-ordered list! These are the movies I most enjoyed this year and I didn't use my ratings or anyone's else to compare the films in my Top10, so don't be surprised if you see an A on top of an A+.
In addition to this, I must emphasize that I did not watch every single movie that was released in 2017! No one ever does, really. I do my best to try and watch as many as I can, but the country I live in does not allow some films to be released at their original dates so I have to wait months to watch them.
Based on the feedback from both critics and casual fans and in order for you to understand my Top10 (I do not want you to read my list and think "Why the hell is not X in here?"), I point below the movies that I think they MIGHT become candidates for my Top10:
Yet To Watch:
The Disaster Artist
Call Me By Your Name
I also refer some Honorable Mentions, films that almost made the final cut, but by some reason or another, didn't. I will update this order, as soon as I watch all of the remaining significant movies. You can click on the images to read my spoiler-free reviews of each film (some of the reviews are from before I changed my writing style, sorry about that). Without further ado, ...
The Killing Of A Sacred Deer
The Shape of Water
And finally ...
Best Movies of 2017
10. Baby Driver
7. Get Out
4. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
3. War For The Planet Of The Apes
1. Blade Runner 2049
This is it! What is your opinion? Do you think the order is wrong? Which movies do you think should not be on the list? And which should?
Comment below and share it with your friends!
Happy New Year! See you in 2018! :)
