REVIEW SUMMARY

Heart of Stone is a film of distinct halves. The first hour contains an intriguing narrative filled with surprising twists, fast pacing, and exciting stunts shot in real locations. Unfortunately, the movie becomes overly dependent on increasingly generic, formulaic storytelling, action, and character-building methods, ending up completely devoid of emotion or impactful resolutions. It will satisfy viewers without high expectations for random home viewing, but it won't last long in their memory.
